bio:

Sure, I'd like people to think that my credentials include undergraduate studies at MIT with graduate studies at Harvard and Oxford with all honors. Some people might be impressed if I displayed my name with all sorts of fancy titles, letters and other sorts of badges that would assure all that "It's okay, so-and-so says that he knows what he's talking about." Alas, all of this would be a slight fabrication.

The truth is all my life I've pretty much been a C student who loves to read, draw, paint, create and generally figure out how things work. I don't know if it was my seemingly innate ability to think critically or the trite that passes for public education that earned me that C in brainwashing but I suppose it was a little bit of both. Since MIT and the others didn't offer degrees in "Do What You Want" and I didn't want to be in debt for the rest of my life I turned them all down to attend The University of Houston.

Everything was going well in my little delusional world until a great friend of mine woke me up and introduced me to the unknown ideal called capitalism. No, not the greedy "Mr. Monopoly with moneybags" or the phony mixed-interventionist types of capitalism that they mention in school but real laissez-faire capitalism or the free market. For better or for worse, I've been hooked ever since. It's been both wonderful and startling to find out that freedom works despite the fact that you're not as free as you always thought you were.

Eventually I managed to get two "union tickets" while actually working in the field, having a little fun and even meeting my future wife.

So, here I am, designing places, writing code, reading lots of books, writing about what comes to mind and generally being a "mischief-maker" for any pompous elites and busybodies I bother to notice.
